Crystal Day is a native Houstonian who began pursuing her career in athletics at a young age. As a bright-eyed 8-year-old, she began her journey as a runner, dancer, and gymnast. Coach Day is currently the Physical Education and Health Department Chair, as well as, a Physical Education Instructor in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. Coach Day is currently the Head Girls Cross Country and Head Girls Track & Field Coach at Jersey Village High School. Ms. Day is the proud Founder and President of Diva Day Consulting, LLC (DDC) and Author of “A Diva’s Guide to Success” a leadership guide to empower individuals with tools for success. Her spirit of pride and excellence stemmed from her teachings under the Cross Country and Track & Field programs at Prairie View A&M University, where she then graduated Suma Cum Laude to earn a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance with a minor in Dance. This is her 15th year as a teacher and coach and within her years has obtained the great honor of being named Teacher of Year in 2008 and 2019! Coach Day has a profound passion for teaching and inspiring, and she has made it her life’s mission to give back to a community that has fostered her spirit of Determination, Intelligence, Vibrancy and Amazement as a woman through mentoring and leadership guidance.

Kenneth Decuir
Head Cross Country and Boy's Track & Field Coach Paetow High School / 15 years coaching experience
Kenneth Decuir is in his 4th year as the Head Boy’s Track & Field Coach at Paetow High School in Katy,TX and his 15th Year coaching JH/HS athletes. As the head coach at Paetow High School , Kenneth has had a Regional qualifier in each year of the school’s short existence including the 2019 5A State Long Jump Champion.This long jumper went on to be the top ranked long jumper and second ranked triple jumper in the country for the 2020 season. He was previously the jumps coach at Tompkins High School in Katy, TX. He coached the 2017 6A High Jump State Champion and has had a jumper qualify for the Regional Meet every year of his high school career. Decuir is from New Iberia, LA where he graduated from New Iberia Senior High. While in high school, played basketball and ran track. He was a two time LA State Championship qualifier in the high jump and had a high school best of 7’0”. He went on to jump at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. While at McNeese, he was a two time All Conference Jumper with a best of 7’2.25”.

Shwan is the head coach at Stratford High School. Previously, hewas at Morton Ranch High School for 10 years. Coach Siemer's coaching philosophy is to prepare, prepare, prepare and then execute our plan. " I don't coach a team, I lead a XC/Track family and we all play a role in helping every athlete achieve his/her personal goal."

Coach Pitzel has been a high school level Cross Country/Track & Field Coach for the past 16 years and has coached Individual/Team Regional and State Qualifiers, as well as, District Champion and Region Champion Teams. Coach Pitzel won the Brooks' Most Inspiring Coach Award in 2011, GCTSCA Coach of the Year Award in 2017 and was the GCSTCA President for 2020.
